Why we give
Success comes at the intersection of hard work and opportunity.
We recognize that many members of our local and global communities
never have a fair shot at success because they lack the basic necessities
like food, shelter and medical attention. Others lack the opportunities
that most of take for granted like education, financing, etc..
So we are proud to support the following worthwhile
charities and
non profits with both financial and volunteer time.
We strongly encourage our customers to consider doing the same.
Charities
Direct Relief International
Direct Relief improves the health and lives of hundreds of thousands of
people affected by poverty,
disaster and civil unrest through health services.
To date we've donated over $34,000 to this incredibly effective charity which is
ranked 4 out of 4 stars by Charity Navigator and named "100% efficient" by
Forbes magazine.
Microcredits for Disadvantaged Entrepreneurs
Microenterprises vastly improve the lives of their owners, their families and
their communities, but many lack the training and resources to get started.
To date we have helped 880 poor
entrepreneurs start micro-businesses with $60,0000 for training and micro-loans.
Feeding America Tampabay
Feeding America assist low-income children and their families with meals and
we make yearly financial donations to stock their food pantry. In addition,
we bought and donated lunch for 35 children, and volunteered our entire
company to prepare the meals and
serve them. We also bought and donated a week's worth of groceries for their
families to take home, and distributed that food as well.
The Junior League of Tampa
The Junior League of Tampa (JLT) provides aid and assistance to disadvantaged
children and their families in the TampaBay area.
We are yearly financial donors and our CEO's wife is an active member who
volunteers her time along with 700 other members
and together provide more than
60,000 hours of volunteer service a year.
