Description:
I need some help reading lines from input files, and replacing words and etc. The assignment description is below.
I'd like someone to write a prog. for me.
I won't copy it, i'll use it as reference to point me in the right direction.
Don't make it too advanced, as this is a beginners course. Thanks

Original name: corrupted
Achilles Dave Lister
Agamemnon Rimmer
Minerva Kryton

A very general description of what you need to do is:

Prompt the user to enter the input file name and an output file name.
Open the corrupted Illiad file of the users choosing.
Read in a line of text.
Search the line of text for the three corrupted names.
As you find a corrupted name replace it with the appropriate correct name.
As you find a corrupted name, keep track of the number of occurances that you replace. You will print out the total for each name and the total number of lines of text searched at the end of the program.
Write the line of text to the output file. If you do not find any corrupted names in the line of text, you should just write that line of text directly into the output file.
Repeat starting at number 2.
Be sure to close your files before you exit your program.

I can make a C++ file class for you to use as a reference if you so desire. It would take me 10 minutes.

I am an experienced C++ programmer of 5 years, and have lots of experience doing this style of problem solving projects.

Thanks,
Daniel Vandersluis

I have finished coding the file class. As soon as you accept my bid, I will send it over.

It outlines how to:
1. Open a file as input, output
2. Get a line from a file
3. Get an integer from a file
4. Write a line to a file
5. Write an integer to a file
