Description:
This project will use PHP code (PHP4) to extract data from a MySQL database using drop down forms. Users should be able to select different items in 14+ categories to create a custom computer configuration with a “Price” box automatically updating after the user changes any option. Once the user has selected all of the items they want, they can hit a submit button. Once submitted, the customer is asked basic questions like name, address and other detailed contact information. Once completed and submitted, our server must email our sales manager and the customer a confirmation detailing their configuration, price and our terms and conditions. To complete the transaction, a link to our secure web server must be included where the customer may complete their purchase using PayPal. This setup needs to be replicated for each TYPE of system (IE, Pentium III with PC133 RAM, Pentium III using DDR-RAM, etc...)
Deliverables:
Solution must be turnkey and secure allowing us to add categories, edit/add/remove items and easily adjust the values of each item. Must Include a PHP Admin section (ID/Password for admin login) that once in, would allow us to enter the details of each section, category and item as well as set pricing. We would prefer this to look and act like HeScripts in terms of user login, admin login and all maintenance functions. Menu&'s must be viewable using all web browsers. Writer should be someone that is interested in reselling this code, as once completed, we would give the writer FULL credits in the application as well as on our site (as we have done with HeScripts and our HeBB bulletin board application. We would also like to be licensed to resell this code on our web site and earn commissions in the process. Visit stabletechnologies.com to see what we mean.
Solution must work for 8 Different TYPES of systems (meaning there will be pull down menus with options for each of these different systems; however, many systems will share the same components such as hard drives, video options, etc...
Special Conditions / Other:
The beauty of this project is that the coder will recieve payment, recognition for work and will be able to resell this code (trust us, there are many others that want to buy it).
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
