Description:
BID AMOUNT IS OPEN FOR SUGGESTION. IGNORE SMALL BUSINESS PROJECT AMOUNT.

Create a GUI interface which allows users to create chart pattern. A chart pattern is defined as a line connecting a series of bars where user will place each bar on the drawing area by either clicking or drag/drop operation. Line is drawn always from the left bar to its immediate bar.

We are looking for coders who use object-oriented programming approach so codes can be re-use.

How the GUI works:

The user will either edit or create pattern by 3 ways:
1. Click and create 1 bar at a time
2. Send in a array of value
3. Modify existing patterns.

Some settings applies to each bar, and some to the pattern, and some for testing purpose. To test, user selects a list of data source and data range. Cancel/Stop/Resume are allowed. Events from our class module will provide status.

Minimum GUI functialities:
1. Open, save, Save as, delete, etc.
2. Test, Cancel, config, etc.
3. auto-sizing or user defined scale, and labels
4. Bar functions/property:
A. Could represent a group of bars or a single bar
b. Error of Margin
c. Different shapes for bar (will supply shapes)
5. Pattern Explorers display available patterns. System pattern but can only be save-as.
6. Full drag-drop
7. Full right-click menu on all objects/controls
8. Reserve a place where a msflexgrid control is used to display search results.
9. What kind of line series to be used with pattern
10. Color settings, modified by users plus 3 defaults
11. Form Settings saving and restored
12. Module to draw line pattern using array of values.
14. Status bar to show progress while testing.

Minimum Modules:
All GUI and charting modules

This project will be added to our existing application so your bid is accepted, you will need to sign Confidentiality statement. All interfaces working with our application will be provided.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Platform:
Written in VB6 for Win 98 and above

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jul 30, 2003 EDT

(Excellent)

Dear Sir:

We've been studying the Pattern Recognition GUI Interface and we can offer you the following:

We have experience creating different kind of charts, like Bars, lines, etc.
We use Microsoft GDI Plus libraries which gives us the possibility to create semitransparent shapes and different kinds of vectorial images where drawing performance is really high.
We have also experience on creating GUI Interfaces where the user is able to identify objects, rotate, zoom in/out, drag & drop, etc.
As you say we can create a GUI interface where the user will be able to create BAR objects in a workspace… and a LINE object will connect this BARS the user is creating.
Of course this BARS can be created automatically by an array of values.
The existing patterns will be easily modified by simply clicking and draggin on present bars.

We can accomplish every GUI function you specified

We would like to receive more information about the testing process… but we can confirm the Pattern Loading, Creation and saving with no problems. For graphics the program will save in bmp, jpg with selectable compression factor, png and gif both with real compresion

Also we would like to receive information about the attached file you sent… but we think that we can accomplish the basics of what you&'re asking for and then start adding different functionalities.

For information purposes we must tell you that GDIPLUS.DLL is a completely free DLL and can be used in any software. (WIN XP and NT 2000 comes with this DLL, for other systems the DLL must be in the package)
You just know us, our resposability, and style of work.
Im offer you now only qualitty, support, big functionality, and the best of our efforts to make you very happy with the final work

We have some questions to make but we think that we can accomplish and excellent program in aprox. two months.

Also for future updates, we can add 3D objects and real time rendering using Direct X native code.

Thank you very much
Please reply with your comments, Im to your disposition.
