Description:
I know ASP very well but do not know ASP.net at all. What I need in this project is a tutorial on learning ASP.net. I learn best by example. For the .net, I want to use VBScript since that is what I am familiar with and do not have VB.net. For the simple examples, give one using regular ASP and one using ASP.net so I can see the differences. Basically what I need to know is how to use the response and write methods, the session variables, the FSO, and accessing databases with .net. I know that with regular ASP, a person used ADO. Also, let me know what new components they have for ASP.net and resources for learning the language better. Finally links to places where I can download or purchase a development environment for free or for a somewhat low price. I know about the Web Matrix but it is difficult to indent the code. A person bidding on this project should be familiar with both ASP and ASP.net

Deliverables:
A list of examples using ASP.net and comparing them to ASP 3.0. For the examples, comment the ones for the .net to show how it was the way it is. Give suggestions on learning the language easier, and finally a list of links to download a development environment.

Platform:
Windows 2000 Server
