Description:
Hi,
This PHP script will start at a specified directory of my website, and print (output to browser) a listing of for all files within the directory and for all files in all subdirectories. This listing will include the filename, path, file date and file sizes to the browser.
(like traverse.php?dir=/home/www/)
It must be able to traverse through any directory structure, including those several levels deep, with many branches.
It must be able to print the list of files within each directory sorted by file date = descending.
It must be able to NOT PRINT directory names in the filename column.
It must be able to compare the file date to a fixed value and NOT PRINT any files that bear dates (last modified) of either earlier or later than the specified date.
(like traverse.php?dir=/home/www/+dt=02/21/2003+omit=early) or
(like traverse.php?dir=/home/www/+dt=02/21/2003+omit=late)
It must output an explanation of what is missing in the event that any URL paramater is required and missing.
It must call a print function within the script to output to the browser (even if the function is as simple as "echo blah blah blah").
It must be richly commented so that I can understand your steps.
I can provide a website for you to develop and test with. All acceptance testing occurs on my servers, so don't be too shy to ask for a site.
Do all that, and you've earned a 10, along with whatever amount you care to bid!

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Here are the code for your request. I made it yesterday, and because the bid it's ending today i haven't got time to comment the code or test it on another platform (it was made on win98). So if you like this, please accept my bid and i will comment and customize with whatever you think it's necessary to add.
