Description:
We have some graphic files to build a map. some work must be done on it.

Part 1:
To be done in Photoshop (or paintshop pro or any program that makes PSP or PSD files).
We have 9 mosaics made of 3x3 tiles.
Each tile is 988x1333 pixels, each 3x3 mosaic must be combined in a single image that will be 3x3 times larger (2964 * 3999)

Each of the 9 resulting images will become a level in a final PSD file that will be sent to us via email (it will be a rather large file, maybe 60-70 Mbyte).

You can see the files to work with in the enclosed ZIP file, there is an index.html page that gives you the structure and links to tiles.

Part 2:
To be done in Illustrator (alternatives are ok but must be agreed upon)
This work must not be done on all the resulting map, but only in the area higlhited in the file AREA.GIF enclosed in the same ZIP file (that is, on about half of the surface, less work)

In the resulting map there are some rivers. These rivers are now drawn as lines with a fixed width of 1 pixel.
These rivers must be re-drawn vectorially following the existing tracks, with lines that are thinner for less important rivers and wider for important rivers (let's say, 1 pixel up to 4 pixel).

This will replace the current level of rivers in the map.

The (abt. 10) most important rivers must also be drawn in 2 alternative status, indicating danger of flood. For example, status 1 could be just making the lines a little bit wider (1 pixel up to 6 pixels?) and status 2 could be the same but wit a red border to indicate "flood alert".

Also, there are roads and railroads, again shown as single-pixel lines.

We will select some of them and these will have to be redrawn vectorially, with different widths and styles (3 or 4 different styles, like on a road map).

Then you will redraw the roads according to our indications and as more clearly exlpained in the index.html file inside the ZIP.

For phase 2 we will need the vector files and we also will need the same rivers, roads and railroads put back in the PSD file.

Deliverables:
1) PSD/PSP files
2) Illustrator files
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
