Description:
We are looking for an RPG based chat room that has the tools to help the Game Masters do their jobs. The full specs are listed in the word file attachment.
Chat should include multiple levels of access from regular user up through a variety of game master levels. The game only needs to help track certain information, no combat generators, no intelligent bots etc. Must be a clean user friendly application.
We are open to negotiations on price, look, style, layout and functionality of the software. This is for a not-for-profit group.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. A hardcopy of the product to be delivered to buyer on either floppy or CD.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4) Installation to the website server. Full access will be granted to the coder to do so.
Platform:
PHP/ASP or Java prefered. Must be able to run on current Internet Explorer, Netscape and AOL browsers. Type is negotiable. Should run entirely web based for both users and game masters, but a downloaded program will be considered for adminsitrative accounts if needed.
Database must be able to run with MySQL as this is the only DB we have available.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Post installation support would be an asset.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

First of all let me show you what we are capable of :
We are a team of young and talented web designers. We specialize in PHP,Flash, And MySQL.
We have worked on a dating site that met the following criteria:
User Registrations.
2) Adding Profile Information, Display and Edit of the same.
3) Two types of searching facility to find a match
i) A basic search that searches on some basic parameters.
ii) An advanced search which facilitates the user to search on any type or numbers of parameters available with the system. This search can further be stored for later use by the user.
4) Displaying the search results according to percentage of match occurred along with the communicating devices such as the IM and mail.
5) Creation of photo albums on the fly; uploading of images (photographs) to albums; display of images in the albums; setting permission levels for accessing the albums etc.
6) Mailing system that includes mailbox features to display mails received via an internal mailing system; sending mails via the internal mailing system; sending mails to real e-mail addresses.
7) Real time Instant Messenger (Chat Program) built in ASP & Flash that communicates between two users or a group of users, i.e., it works as a simple IM and also as a conferencing device.
8) A diary to store friends&' names for further use. This diary provides IM facility as well as mail facility for every friend listed.
9) IM messages, which are not answered, are shown whenever the user checks in, a somewhat alike feature to Yahoo IM&'s “offline messages”.
10) A feature to notify a user if he is not online and his/her friend wants him to be online for meeting.
11) Real time integrated system of payment to use full features of the service. Levels of guest and members are set. Guests are not allowed to utilize full features of the service.
12) Features like spell checking while filling up information, on the fly resizing of images, change of passwords etc.
13) A full-fledged administrative section. Features include:
i) A section to verify uploaded images and reject them if offensive material is found.
ii) Logging the chat sessions for security purposes.
iii) Checking the status of each users and notifying them required information.
iv) Sending mass mails to users of the service.
v) Restricting users from using the service if something offensive is found.
