Description:
I'm looking for a well commented cgi script that I can place in my cgi-bin that will allow multiple files selected on the secure page to be uploaded to a password protected folder on my server.

The url of the page from where files will be uploaded is: https://www17.tierranet.com/amazingcharts.com/load.html

When the user clicks the Upload These Files button, the four files need to be uploaded and copied to a folder called: uploads that is located on the site.

This folder will be password protected with a username of: "test" and a password of "testpass".

In addition, the script must send off two emails. One to the field email_address enterred on the page, and the other to the address in the hidden email field on the page above that says, "The following files were uploaded on: " and then the date, and must list the file names of the files listed.

If there is an error, I'd like a page to be generated on the fly that explains the error (is this possible??)

Once the data is successfully updated, a page should be generated that lists the files successfully uploaded. If this isn't possible, the upload page should be redirected to: https://www17.tierranet.com/amazingcharts.com/loadconfirm.html

Given the number of bids I usually receive, I can only consider bids that have a working demo. Looking forward to seeing your solution ideas! Thanks.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Help setting up the chmod settings for the upload folder and any other settings needed.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

If you decided to go with a PHP script, I can, if you want, even allow for as many files as you want, merely by clicking a 'add file' button. I could have it to you within 24 hours, nicely commented, too :)

As for the password protected directory, you would need to have to be able to have .htaccess support (which you probably have anyway). If you do not, I can tell you how to enable it, or tell your sysadmin (it's easy).

Afterwards, if your site admin will not enable it, I could add that feature for $1 if necessary.
