Here's how it should work, when a person enters a number like 43, I want the number in the check box to change to 000043 when they go to the next field. You can use the onEvent handler of onBlur or onChange to accomplish the running of the script after the number has been entered. Some examples of user input and how it would be formatted are the following: Input Formatted 23 000023 355 000355 7352 007352 48356 048356 189073 189073 There are a maximum of 6 digits allowed in the text box. I simply need the code to the javascript and do not need an actual example of where to put the event handler as I can do that. This code must work in both Netscape and Explorer so Javascript version 1.2 code should work fine.
