Functions we require are as follows: 1. The component already has facilities to select an area using a "rubber band" or "irregular" selection tools, we would like the user to be able to select 1 or more areas using these existing tools, and specify a compression figure for each one. 2. We also require a method that will automatically select areas of the image where compression will be less noticable, and allow the user to specify a compression figure. 3. The result of the chosen compression should be immediately visible (without saving to disk and re-opening!) There should be a property that holds the existing filesize, and one that holds the filesize if saved at currently chosen compression level(s). 4. There should be a True/False property to toggle between showing how the image currently looks, and how it would look if saved with the selected compression factor(s). 5. It needs a method that allows the user to specify a target filesize, and it will set the compression rate automatically to bring it down to that filesize 6. Also, a password property is required, which when set will encrypt image data when saved. When re-opened the image can be viewed once the password has been supplied. Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
