It does not produce a smooth final image at all. It creates several image types. I need one of the images modified. I need this done immediately, within the next 7 days. I presume it's the low quality on the mapped images, and the very slow anti aliasing ? If you dont mind too much, I'd rather rewrite totally the rendering engine. Do you want me to post an example of what I could do ? I would use OpenGL to take care of the 3D part, and just keep the design software as it is..
