either GDI or DirectDraw/3D or OpenGL) for future versions of EasyTrace &

First version was already included in EasyTrace v 7.0 Pro.

Our group brief portfolio.
1. Easy Trace.
Easy Trace is a software package for semi-automatic interactive
vectorization of color and black-n-white raster images. It works under
Windows 95/98/2000/NT. All the programmers of our group were engaged in
development of Easy Trace digitizer. We realized algorithms for image
processing, scanning, semi-automatic tracing and interactive tutorial
system. We developed internal objects structure of the program and tools
for editing vector objects with multiple UNDO/REDO operations. Also we took
part in preparing documentation using HtmlHelp technology. We believe Easy
Trace 7.0 Pro is the best raster to vector software on the market.

2. SmartCap.
SmartCap is software for grabbing images from desktop. With it you may
select many grab area options, perform single or sequence snapshots, save
graphic files to Jpeg, Bmp or Png format. Also the program supports export
of image sequence to AVI or ASF video clip. And even more it supports
internal compressed file format for storing sequence of grabbed images. All
images that you may find here prepared with SmartCap. Application was fully
developed by Binoteq group.

3. Image Advisor DLL.
DLL intended for converting images from BMP file format to any of the
following: JPEG, PNG, GIF, PCX, TIFF. It has abilities for image cropping,
converting color depth, preview of source and destination images. Also it
allows changing properties of destination file format. As example, you can
see snapshot, where user change jpeg quality level. In top view he can see
source image, in the bottom - destination. Jpeg quality is set to "poor",
and you can see bad quality of destination image. But as the file size at
such quality is dramatically small, probably it is a reasonable choice.
(file size also is calculated by the program) DLL has only two exported
functions and can be connected to any application. Application was fully
developed by Binoteq group.

4. Panel editor.
Panel editor is utility for electrical designer. It allows performing
modeling of 3-phase electrical circuits. As example, electrical circuit of
house equipment. Application calculates possible faults, type of conductors,
size of panels and transformers, prepare reports and other engineering
documentation. Application was partially developed by Binoteq group.
Total project time: 500 hours

5. PhotoFAST.
This project's task was to develop the engine that could handle Adobe
Photoshop's compatible plug-ins. Also test workspace was developed. The
engine was developed as MFC DLL. But it can be used with any other
development environments.
Using this DLL it's now very easy to add to any application Adobe Photoshop
compatible plug-ins support .

6. Casino.
Casino - is the Win32 client for online casino gaming. The Win32 part of the
project was fully developed by Binoteq team. The Java version and server
programming (JSP) was developed by another team. We successfully used a lot
of new technologies here. Our client has support for full-screen DirectX
mode. Direct Sound is also supported. Each game is a COM-object in a
separate DLL. So we developed advanced update/repair system for
downloading/updating new games and repairing. For smaller application size
ATL & pure Win32 API are used.

XML, HTTP.
7. Video Surveillance System.
Video Surveillance System (VSS) - is our last project where we tried to use
all our experience. The product support language packs, COM add-ons,
advanced security system. All the components (Sources, Targets, Filters,
Alarms,etc )of the system can be extended. COM technology is widely used in
this project. Currently the system works with Piranha(tm) hardware but
components for any other hardware can be developed.<
