Very clean code, and a nice program. I
did not know there is such thing as
"... As New MSXML.XMLHTTPRequest"; so
I really learn something new with this
one. Thanks for sharing this knowledge
with us. Keep up the good work.

I've uploaded a small fix. Original
code would bomb if the city had no wind
to report. Should work now. :)
BTW.
Thanks for all the great feedback :)

Chyld of God,
The error is comming
from the version of the xml parser on
your machine.. The Program was written
with version 2 of the msxml.dll which
installs when you install the latest
version of IE (ver 5). You can also
get the files from microsofts website.

This works great, except in Oklahoma
City for today on www.weather.com
showed a "-" instead of 0 MPH, so the
code had an error on it. But then again
you're not making the program for us,
you're showing us how it works.
Excellent code, something I wanted to
know how to do and now I do. I wrote
something like this, but I didn't know
about MSXML or even InStr!
The
Contest Winner award? You totally
deserved it. Congrats and thank you.
Maybe someday I'll put some of my
own code samples in here.

I get that "ObjHTTP As New
MSXML.XMLHTTPREQUEST" error also. I
assume it's because of the outdated
.DLL file. You mentioned. I am having
a hard time finding that .DLL.....Can
someone help me???

Oops, found another bug. Checked the
temp this morning using this sample and
it shows to be 83 degrees. Checked it
again and it still shows 83 degrees. I
checked www.weather.com and it was 95
degrees then I checked the program and
it showed 95 degrees. There needs to be
a way to refresh this.
