(About the author)

This is another wonderful CyberCrypt version which includes two new Utilitys, 1: Self-Extracting EXE creator, 2: File splitter. I have done some editing to code in this program, and made it better for the user. I'd just like to thankyou all for voting contest winner for version 7.0 of CyberCrypt. For that i've also added some good graphical advances to make the user interface look better. If you think this is good then please vote, i'd also like some ideas, "I know", "I know", you all said put rar and zip format in but at the moment i've been working on other projects. I like this program very much and infact only found three bugs since version 7.0 of CyberCrypt. Don't worry if you have saved any CyT files in versions 6.0 lower because this one and version 7.0 has an archive convertor. Anyhow thanks again and please leave a comment.

but does it support any kind of
compression at all.

No the self-Extract does not support
compression at the moment because it is
in it's first stage, v1.0 but
CyberCrypt does support compression.

Hay guys don't worry about the
registration feature. It's just to make
the version look a bit more
professional if you know what I mean.
Geygens are really easy to make for
this program, just follow the process.
If you have problems with it either
remove the registration check or
download the keygen for it when I
upload it in a few days. :-) And thanks
for letting me win the CyberCrypt 7.0
contest winner of the month!!! Have a
nice day. :-)

It was put to my attention by one of
the feed backs that zlib.dll was not
included in the zip??? because of the
new PSC sucurity features. So if you
haven't found it please download it
from any major search engine ie Yahoo
etc.. or get it from me at
NeoBPI@Yahoo.com and have a very nice
day. Please leave any more concerns
with this program etc... Also if you
think your missing anything.

Obviously a lot of effort has been put
into this program -- top marks for such
a lovely interface -- something which
people look for in an
application.
Nice to see a lot of
care has been taken with this program,
too. The interface is beautiful. Your
next goal, is to add support for .Zip
files as well as your own type of
files, though I know you said you were
working on it. All on all, a very good
effort into a difficult program to
program. You get a 5 globes vote from
me! All I can say is, I can't wait to
see a fully working version of
CyberCrypt 9.0.
In the meantime, I
hope to see more of your work on PSC
Soon! Also, have you considered
designing different applications to
Compression utilities? CyberCrypt is
excellent. Also, you could add icons to
the menus like in Winzip. This is
almost at the standard WinZip is. Once
you add .ZIP support, it may be better
than WinZip.
Nice one, Mark! Hope
to see more of your work on PSC real
soon.
Rob

To Robin McKay: Infact the CyT files
are my own format. The format took two
weeks to create which is a long time
just for the "Add", "Extract", "Check
Archive Valid", "Create" functions.
Have a nice day to you too. :-)

This version is cool, too. Nice splash
screen. But there are some things that
may be improved.
For example: don't
get me wrong but the archive structure
is a mess. Take a look at my app
PowerPack and check out the internal
structure. It's easier to mantain and
you can easily delete a file.

Wow, I always keep waiting for the next
CyberCrypt, Mark.
Question: can I use
the code in one of my programs: I like
to make an updater for one of my
programs, that supports multiple files.
Herefore I should modify your code a
bit to check some registry settings and
to add a default extract directory. Is
this OK with you??

Whoops! Gotta update the headers. I
made a self-extracting file, and the
header for it shows "CYT6.0". Also, how
about encrypting the self-extracting
file or compressing it so nobody can
actually read it when it's opened -
unless you already got that in mind for
version 9.0

PS: Think your program is terrific,
5 globes from me. The UI really comes
up well, I've downloaded version 1 of
this program and have been comparing it
to this. Much better. Nice
work!

Design is very good, but the
compression speed is very low :(. It
took me 2 minutes to compress a 25mb
file on my AMD Athlon 850mmx. Speed
improvement would be a good thing to do
:). I'm voting 5 anyway because it's
pretty hard to make a program like this
:).

My guess is because I have seen several
posts from different people over the
last year or two saying he steals
code...takes it and removes all credits
(or doesn't give credit when he uses
code that didn't have credits) and then
reposts it as his own code within his
programs. Usually he removed these
comments within a day, so the truth
must hurt. I am just glad the
CyberCrap posts are over!

Oh really....It's wired how I don't
need to add comments when I design my
own code. Oh and by the way I have
taken up some software publishers
advice. I'm now currently selling a
product call WinCrypt which is an
advance of CyberCrypt Root 20. Root 20
is ver good in it's self but b*stards
like douge tempted me not to upload
free code anymore.

This encryption scheme used in this
program is weak and insecure. I've
posted an article about the security
flaws I've discovered in it at
http://www.pscode.com/xq/ASP/txtCodeId.2
9630/lngWId.1/qx/vb/scripts/ShowCode.htm
. I am rather curious as to why no one
questioned the cryptography from the
getgo. I only discovered this a couple
days ago. Anyway, hope the article
helps.

example me - I dont like this program

absolutely non-unique functions that
are definitely not better then
functions in other free software. But
this does not mean I should vote bad,
just because I dont like the idea and

the error message comes up (in

Hey mark! is it possible to add an
ENCRYPTED password to everything? Also,
why is the self-extracting exe larger
than all the files combined? Maybe, if
i go put your compressed CyT extracting
