A dedicated and clever all-around programmer and with my large and extensive programming experience with Visual Basic from over a 5 year span, it has given me the knowledge to get everything from desktop to client/server applications (and everything in between) done fast, professionally, and with commercial quality. One of my other programming languages I favor from the rest (Areas of Expertise) is C++. This language is fast and powerful. When i'm writting a program that needs speed to keep up with todays computers and Visual Basic just wont cut it, i'll turn to this powerful development environment and I have been doing so for 3 years now as I go along.

Although C++ is fast, I am still finding interesting and innovative programs to pump out of VB language within a short amount time, it's always my first solution to a program for the windows platform.

Portfolio:

I'm proud to say that I am a dominant 8 time award winning Planet-Source-Code Superior Coding Contest Winner since Arpil 1999 to July 2000 in Visual Basic and thus in PlanetSourceCode's permanent ' http://www.planetsourcecode.com/vb/contest/AllTimeHallOfFame.asp?lngWId=1 All Time Hall of Fame'.
I am also proud to say that I'm the first and only (I'm not completly sure) to get 3 submissions in one month to win the superior coding contest winner award at PSC. Below is some history behind the awards.

http://www.planetsourcecode.com/vb/contest/AllTimeHallOfFame.asp?lngWId=1 Award Winning History at PSC:

April 1999

Two of my submissions win on my first time contributing to the PlanetSourceCode community. I was so surprised to recieve these awards that I continued to contribute thereafter.

August 1999
One submission wins here.

March 2000
1 of my submissions also wins again.

May 2000
3 submissions then win in one month, a record is born for PSC. A personal quote from http://www.planetsourcecode.com/vb/about/AboutTheSiteAndAuthor.asp?lngWid=1 Ian Ippolito (as you all know, the original creator of PlanetSourceCode.com and RentACoder.com) says "Mike Canejo...developer of the month? With his record 3rd contest winning entry of the month, Mike shows you how to create a chat program using UDP and winsock."

July 2000
1 submission won the award as well and this was my last to win on the count of a busy life in programming. I now program for a side-job profit and for fun but I will contribute here and there to PSC on another rainy day.
