My name is Thomas Weibel, and I am a swiss journalist. At present I work for Swiss Radio DRS2, the cultural channel of the german-speaking part of Switzerland. I live at Binningen near Basel. Since my childhood days I spend quite some time on making music: After ten years of cello lessons I turned my back on classical music in order to play jazz (swing, bebop), blues, and soul (www.chicagoseven.ch). I am very much interested in the development of the web as well as in web development. Since 1998 I have designed several small websites. My most recent project is Solitaire Mahjongg (www.mahjongg.ch), a web game which has been visited by more than 3 million players since October 1st, 2002.
